Warsaw Dynamics Went for The Gold. And Took It.

Two years ago, we announced our jump to Atlassian Marketplace Platinum Partner status. Today, we announce that we have achieved Gold.

How is this not looking like we’re repeating the same curve?

Strangely enough, this Atlassian Marketplace Gold Partner status may mean more to us than the Platinum badge we celebrated back in 2024. Not because Gold suddenly outranks Platinum. Because the ladder changed.

Platinum then vs. Gold now

When we became Platinum, the Marketplace Partner Program worked very differently. At the time, qualification was based largely on overall Marketplace sales, combined with a required share of Cloud business. A strong Server or Data Center portfolio could therefore contribute significantly toward achieving a higher tier.

Today, the picture is very different.

Platinum thenGold now
Revenue: total gross sales with a Cloud-share %Revenue: Cloud-only gross sales
No Forge sales thresholdMandatory Forge revenue
Security certification: none required, “participation in Atlassian Security Programs” was enoughFormal security/compliance requirements: SOC 2 Type 2 or ISO 27001:2022 (held, not merely scheduled)
Trust center: not a criterionThird-party validated Trust Center (Drata, Vanta or SafeBase)
Review cadence: Bi-annualReview cadence: Annual

…and many more.

Now Gold status is based much more directly on the success of Atlassian’s Cloud ecosystem: substantial Cloud performance, dedicated Forge revenue, stricter security expectations, Bug Bounty participation, fast customer support, and formal compliance requirements. In other words, today’s Gold isn’t simply an earlier version of Platinum with a different-colored badge - it measures a different kind of Marketplace company.

When Kamil Zarychta, Co-CEO of Warsaw Dynamics, said:

We’re very happy to have regained our Gold status on the Atlassian Marketplace and to be back on the right track. This wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our entire team, who have kept our products and customer support at a high level.

Kudos to the whole team!”

It wasn’t just a default congratulations to us.

In 2025, the new program standards arrived, and our previous Platinum status didn’t simply carry over. We went back to Silver, which left us a bit sour and disappointed. Not because we suddenly became a weaker company, but because the definition of what it meant to be a top Marketplace Partner had changed beneath us. Like a sports contest that gave points to the participants’ clothing rather than their abilities.

Over the following year, we started climbing the new ladder, making sure our products were getting better, stronger, safer, and more reliable.

How our apps changed

External Share for Jira , External Share for Confluence , Approval Path for Jira , Approval Path for Confluence , and Macro Pack for Confluence now run fully on Forge. Technically, this wasn’t a small feat. A Forge migration can be as simple as just “migrating” to “re-architecting an entire app”. Crucial feature development was paused to adapt our portfolio to Atlassian’s Forge-first ecosystem.

Our development team, known for being the best support out there, outdid itself and shipped more than imagined, even being busy Forge-fying the app stack:

  • Macro Pack has grown exponentially and now supports over 30 macros, including numbered headings, Confluence surveys, 3D animation, code, and structured content.

  • External Share for Confluence was rebranded almost entirely, becoming more visually beautiful and detailed, and offering capabilities that Atlassian Guest Access and Page Links still cannot match.

  • External Share for Jira granted externals assignment rights and improved their dashboard and notification inbox, so they feel like part of the team.

  • Approval Path for Jira and Confluence caught up with the AI wave, not just for bragging rights. The new AI-Powered approval step helps approvers understand a request more quickly, identify risks, or return structured analysis over a work item in minutes rather than days.

  • Approval Path for Jira now lives on your Jira dashboard and JSM portal, making our 5/5-star app the natural choice for users who want a fully customized approval process that meets their needs.

All of these, while building new apps.

Krzysztof Bogdan, Warsaw Dynamics Co-CEO and technical mastermind, may sound happier than usual, but he was also not wrong when saying:

It is great to get recognition from Atlassian, and it is amazing because we could not have done it without our clients and their trust in our tools. We want to keep building amazing software that improves the world just a bit - I would like to make a positive dent in history :).”

Because that’s the core philosophy that drives Warsaw Dynamics forward: making our workplace a better world to live in.

More than getting a badge back

We didn’t simply return to a status we once held. We had to again earn our position against a new set of expectations while evolving our apps, infrastructure, security practices, and product strategy alongside Atlassian itself.

Back in 2024, when we announced Platinum, we wrote that the badge represented more than a color next to our name.

We still believe that.

Only now, the colors represent something different - our desire to climb higher technological peaks.

Gold looks pretty good from here. But we know which color comes next.
