Macro Pack: Now We're Moving to a Paid Model

Macro Pack (PlantUML, Swagger, Open API, Markdown, HTML, Latex, AsciiDoc) is a Confluence app that extends the platform with a wide range of powerful macros. It supports a wide variety of input sources such as URLs, attachments, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, and text, and works seamlessly with formats like HTML, JSON, CSV, AsciiDoc, Markdown, Mermaid, OpenAPI/Swagger, PlantUML, Draw.io, and LaTeX.

Until now, Macro Pack has been completely free. Starting October 2025, we’ll be transitioning to a paid model.

Why are we switching the pricing model?

We originally launched as a Swagger UI macro. Thanks to user feedback and ongoing development, Macro Pack has grown into a full-featured macro suite. We want to be able to keep adjusting, improving, and adding more features to fit your business but to achieve that, we need to be able to cover the expenses related to resource allocation. This transition will allow us to deliver regular updates and better long-term support for our users.

What will it cost?

We understand that some people might be upset about this change, that’s why we tried to make sure the pricing is easily digestible while still high enough for us to upkeep our development schedule. We believe that the price-to-value ratio that we offer is competitive when compared to single macro applications:

We understand that this change may not seem ideal, which is why we will soon roll out a way to redeem a 20% discount code for all of the users who will have the Macro pack installed before October!
